Lumbarda Tourist Board, in cooperation with the Grk Lumbarda Winemakers and Winegrowers Association, is organizing a unique race that brings together lovers of running, wine – or both. The race consists of 14 checkpoints, i.e. 14 wineries producing Grk wine. To successfully complete a checkpoint, participants must drink 0.4 dl (40 ml) of Grk wine at each winery.
The winner is the competitor who visits the highest number of checkpoints in the shortest time.

Route Description

The race starts in the center of Lumbarda, heading west along the main road towards Koludrt to the first checkpoint – Lovrić Winery. The route then continues along the seaside promenade to the debut winery in Račišće Bay – Artes. From there, the course follows the main road towards Javič, where the third winery – Mušić – awaits.

The route continues along a field path to the bypass road, where after a flat section runners reach Bire Winery, followed immediately below by Zure. The course then proceeds by road through the hamlets of Šerić and Vela Postrana to Cipre, Casa Boschi, and Cebalo wineries.

Next, the route continues through Mala Postrana to Popić and Vitis, after which the road leads to Pržina Beach, passing Sabulum winery. The course then goes across Pržina Beach and the Lumbarda field to Luče, followed by a section through the sandy Bilin Žal beach and promenade to Parapet, where participants climb to Nobilo Winery. Returning down the same steps leads to Tatinja and the final checkpoint – Fides winery.

The race finishes in the Lumbarda center.

Trail description:
The trail starts from the very center of Lumbarda, across the picturesque Račišće Bay, then through the Koludrt promenade to the first control point, the Lovrić winery.
Then it climbs towards the two neighboring wineries – Bire and Zure.
After that, on the road through the hamlets of Kosovo, Šerić and Vela Postrana to the Cipre and Casa Boschi wineries.
Then along the road through Mala Postrana to the Popić and Vitis wineries, after which the road continues to Pržina beach next to the Sabulum winery.
After that, through the Pržina beach and the Lumbarajsko field to the Luče winery, after which the path continues through the field and under the church of St. Roko is checkpoint at Cebalo winery.
Climbing up Vela Glavica, the road continues to the Nobilo winery, after which it descends to Tatinja to the last control point, the Fides winery (Feral).
The end of the race is in the center of Lumbarda. Winners get their rewards in form of Grk wine.

Track: 6.11km

Track Description:
The track starts from the picturesque Uvala Račišće, goes through the Koludrt promenade to the first checkpoint, Lovrić winery. Then it goes towards the neighboring wineries – Zure and Bire. After that, it continues on the road through the Šerić and Vela Postrana to the Cipre and Casa Boschi wineries. The track then goes through Mala Postrana to the Popić and Vitis wineries, and then extends towards Pržina Beach, with a checkpoint at the Sabulum winery. After that, through Pržina Beach and Lumbarda field, it reaches the Luka winery, followed by a path through the field and under the Church of St. Roko, leading to the Cebalo winery. By climbing Vela Glavica, the track continues to the Nobilo winery, and then descends to Tatinja, reaching the final checkpoint, the Fides winery. The race ends in the town center.

Five sets of service poles and bicycle stands were installed on the newly created cycling tourist routes of the island of Korcula, the purchase and installation of which was provided by the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, and the activity was funded by the Maritime and Multimodal Sustainable Passanger Transport Solutions and Services – MIMOSA – INTERREG HR-IT 2014 – 2020, in which the Dubrovnik-Neretva County is a project partner.

In Lumbarda, a service pole has been set up at the rest area on the Donje Blato bike path, and a stand has been set up on Bilin žal beach.

The service pole includes:

• Bicycle Repair Tool: ordinary screwdriver, adjustable wrench, Phillips screwdriver, tire change levers, double-sided spanners, Allen keys 2.5-10 mm,
• Lighting: 3W
• Light sensor (lights up at night)

• USB charger: 1
