Certificates of Appreciation for Loyal Guests
The Novaković family has been involved in tourism in Lumbarda, at Soline, for many years, and many of their guests return year after year. This year, several milestone anniversaries coincided, which Mrs. Mara and Mr. Ante did not forget.
The Lumbarda Municipal Tourist Board proudly awarded Certificates of Appreciation to long-time guests who, through their loyal visits, friendship, and support, have left an indelible mark on our community and contributed to the development and reputation of tourism in Lumbarda and Croatian tourism as a whole.
For this special occasion, Mrs. Mara Novaković, with the help of her daughter and daughter-in-law, prepared a truly unforgettable dinner, during which the Certificates of Appreciation were presented to all the honored guests. Mr. Ante, as always, was an excellent host—cheerful and entertaining. The evening was filled with a spirit of friendship and togetherness, with laughter, conversation, and fond memories of the many beautiful moments our dear guests have spent in Lumbarda.
The recipients were:
Mrs. Mirjana Grabar Kruljac, Mr. Vedran Kruljac, and their son Ivan received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of their 15 years of visiting. Their connection with Lumbarda and its people makes them a true part of our community.
Mrs. Janja Resnik Možina and Mr. Aleksander Možina received a Certificate of Appreciation marking their 20th anniversary of visits. Their long-standing loyalty and friendly relationship with the hosts are a shining example of the sincere bond between guest and host that has lasted for decades.
Mrs. Emma Malcangi and Mr. Filippo Tedone from Italy were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for their 30th anniversary of staying with the Novaković family, acknowledging their commendable contribution to the promotion and development of tourism in Lumbarda and Croatia.
The Certificates of Appreciation, along with symbolic gifts, were presented by the Director of the Lumbarda Tourist Board, Ante Šestanović, who emphasized that Lumbarda is proud of all the tourists who return year after year to their second home. He stated that such long-term relationships are the foundation of sustainable and authentic tourism. He expressed hope that we will all gather again to celebrate 100 years of visits to Lumbarda.
Thank you to all our dear guests – every time you return to Lumbarda, it is a sign of how much Lumbarda is worth!
